There are a number of variables that could affect the completion date of your new home (e.g., municiple approvals, weather, material availability, etc.). We can not determine an exact completion date at the outset, only a range of dates. We will confirm the estimated completion date of your home as construction progresses, according to the following schedule:

1. At the time of contract, we will identify the month in which your home will be completed.
2. Construction will begin approximately four to six weeks after the completion of your Framing Release.
3. After the roof shingles have been installed on your new home, we can narrow the completion date to within a few weeks.
4. Approximately three to four weeks later, your home will be at the drywall stage.
5. Upon completion of drywall, we will be able to determine, within a week, when you will be able to close and move into your new home. The Lakewood Homes Closing Department will contact you with specific closing details. Closing usually occurs four to six weeks after the completion of drywall.
