Window Condensation

If moisture is appearing on your window, there is too much indoor humidity. Bathing, mopping a kitchen floor, cooking, washing dishes and using a humidifier contribute to high indoor humidity.

To prevent window condensation, turn on exhaust fans when cooking or bathing. Limit use of humidifier to only that which is needed. Condensation will generally disappear on its own when the indoor humidity reaches a normal level.
